My Mario Paint Compositions

Hello everyone! :D Later after recreating Master Stage from Super Monkey Ball, I wanted to recreate another song that got stuck in my head, Underwater Stage. However, the project was put aside, probably because something more interesting caught my attention at the time. It's only recently that I got the motivation to finish it, while checking my list of songs that I should finish before starting a new one. This song has some crazy percussion effects that would be challenging to recreate accurately, no matter the soundfont that I use. I hope I did it justice. I used Adolfo Baez's Electronica soundfont for this arrangement. I hope you like it. Enjoy! :D

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I uploaded any video, first because a lot happened in my personal life, but also I was tired and burned out creatively. For those reasons, the project took a lot longer to start and make. Fortunately, I managed to make something that I was proud of. The desire to recreate Super Sonic Racing came from people sharing their favorite racing game songs in a Discord server, and seeing this song show up. I already knew the soundtrack was great, but I did not expect that theme to stick in my head for so long. It would become my favorite Sonic R song, with Living In The City in second, and one of my all-time favorite Sonic The Hedgehog songs. I used Adolfo Baez's Electronica soundfont for this arrangement. I know the original theme from Ocarina of Time is very well appreciated, but this is a wonderful version of that song! So, it had to be my song pick in case my plan A didn't work. I decided to go with a relatively low tempo from my usual because I wanted to keep it simple and relax, which worked in the end. I used the default soundfont for this arrangement. I hope you like it. Hello everyone! :D This was my upload for Mario Paint's Secret Santa 2025. This time, I was making it for Lux. Lux's channel: https://www.youtube.com/@lux5164 Original upload: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qjnvgM4VLA This was my hardest Secret Santa gift to figure out, because Lux didn't suggest any game at all, so it was a wild card to work with. To help myself, I checked their YouTube channel and noticed that they mainly did The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom content, so I went with those games. As someone who has never played a full LoZ game, it was difficult to find a good song to recreate. Then, I got the idea to use the most winter-ish songs of the TotK soundtrack and make a medley out of them. The songs that I picked were not particularly hard to recreate, so that helped me with time management. Hello everyone! This is my last upload of the year. The second song from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity that I wanted to cover. It was just a matter of time and motivation before I suddently got the desire to recreate it. In my opinion, this is the best menu music in any Sonic game and probably the best one that I heard in all video games that I know. It feels very hype, energizing and arcade-ish, and that's a style of music that I want to see more in games. So, congratulations to the song for making it in my hall of fame for best VGM! Hello everyone! :D I was in a Donkey Kong groove with the new release of Donkey Kong Bananza (I don't have the game yet, but I plan to play it), so I made something that I've been thinking about for a while. Just a simple Mario Paint Composer V2 cover of Stickerbush Symphony using a normally low tempo for the software. Surprisingly, such a composing style ended up fitting very well with that song as I barely had to do any sacrifice in the composition. I'm surprised that nobody has figured that out yet, as either they didn't replicate all the details properly, or they went with a higher tempo. I was thinking about using MPC V1 instead of V2. However, I wanted my arrangement to sound good and smooth, so I opted for V2. I used the default soundfont for this arrangement. I hope you like it. Enjoy! :D

Hello everyone! :D As an attempt to slowly get back into making Mario Paint arrangements, I wanted to recreate an easy song. This time, it is Cosmic Cove Galaxy, from one of my favorite games of all time, Super Mario Galaxy 2. It is such a peaceful and relaxing piece of music, beautifully crafted to fit the aquatic environment of the level. It's one of the levels that help me not get scared of water areas in games, because, back as a child, there were some horrors called Dire Dire Docks and Clanker's Cavern... Anyway, I love this song very much, it's one of my favorites from the game! Fun fact: I wanted to recreate that song in WarioWare: D.I.Y. first. However, due to how hard D.I.Y. is to work with, I opted for Giant Mario Paint instead, and I think that was the right call. I used the default soundfont for this arrangement. I hope you like it. Everything about the game is fantastic: the story, the gameplay, the art style, the music. It's so good that I decided to get the cartridge to play on the original hardware. No regret. Long Dream is one of the songs that I heard the most in the game, and one of my favorites. I originally wanted to cover it with a custom soundfont, unfortunately every attempt sounded off. So, the default soundfont was the way to go, and it still sounded good! Maybe I'll arrange more TWEWY songs in the future, the soundtrack is just that good! This time, the collab motivated me to arrange the Fusion Dragon Battle, but with my personal soundfont in Giant Mario Paint. This is one of the songs that I put long ago in my to-do list, so I'm glad that I finally managed to get around it. I used my personal soundfont for this song.
